Attorney Lasher is an experienced mediator, having practiced divorce mediation in Holden, Massachusetts, for 10 years.
In an earlier career, attorney Lasher was a financial executive serving as chief financial officer for three businesses. In that role, he oversaw the accounting, IT, HR, planning and legal departments.
He has written several books, the most significant of which is a college-level finance text titled "Practical Financial Management," which is now in its seventh edition. His other books are on business planning and strategy.
He received his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the New England School of Law in Boston (now New England Law). That institution is accredited by the American Bar Association, the highest accrediting body for law schools.
Attorney Lasher has been extensively trained in mediation, beginning his study in law school. He is also a graduate of the intensive divorce mediation course given by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) in Boston under the supervision of a retired family court judge who is a recognized authority on divorce and mediation in Massachusetts.
In addition to his law degree, attorney Lasher has bachelor's and master's degrees from Columbia University and a Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University. He has also earned his certified public accountant (CPA) designation.
